Update & Blog Post

Once again, a long overdue update to the site with the latest performance dates. I've just returned from a tour of the Northwest with my colleagues in Paris Chansons (www.parischansons.com). It was a musically & culturally satisfying experience. Incidentally, we're at Vibrato Grill (www.vibratogrilljazz.com) on August 4th. It's a beautiful venue - which I understand has recently undergone a remodeling - and the group plays equally beautiful music.

I have a couple days of relative calm at home before I get right back in it with rehearsals & concert with pianist Mark Balling and his quartet, return engagements with R&B/Jazz group Force T.E.N., a brief midwest (Minneapolis & Chicago) run with Paris Chansons, a reunion with my dear friends from The Richard Sherman/Bili Redd group at the Terranea Resort, what is sure to be a fun gig with "Yacht Rock" band Thunder Island, a much-anticipated return to the stage with the one and only Engelbert Humperdinck (www.engelbert.com), and several writing/arranging/recording projects I have on my plate here in "The Bassment". Speaking of which, I've recently completed an arrangement of The Doobie Brothers classic Taking It To The Streets. This one was really fun to produce and includes outstanding performances by vocalist Joanna Rose, guitarist Dave Hill, and drummer Dave Anderson. As always, I feel compelled to express how lucky I am to continue to do what I love and feel the joy of sharing music with the wonderful & appreciative audiences I encounter everywhere I go.

Until next time...
Adam
