Hi folks,

A new arrangement is up that you bassists out there will have some fun with. I've just completed an arrangement for Bass Trio of the Herbie Hancock classic Maiden VoyageThere are some arco passages up in thumb position that should give you something to work on and some nice pizz double stops to dig into.

Also up are some recently added dates for the Engelbert Humperdinck Tour 2018! Very excited to see what new music is in store for us and, of course, looking forward to being out there with the legend himself & my talented friends in the band. The 2017 tour marking Engelbert's 50th Anniversary in show business was memorable not only for the music, but for the amazing people & places I experienced along the way. I am truly blessed to be doing what I do in such stellar company; I am eternally grateful.

On the recording front, I recently played bass on a Bill Fulton composition featuring the fantastic Eric Marienthal on saxophone! Heard a rough mix the other day and it sounded tremendous. Again, honored to be playing & recording with such brilliant musicians.

Finally, the group Paris Chansons (a multicultural folk/jazz group I am a member of) is returning on January 25th to the MIM Theater in Phoenix. It's always a pleasure to make music with them and the acoustic nature of the music - along with the terrific vocals - is a nice departure for me.

That's all for now folks! Stay tuned for news on upcoming Adam Cohen Band dates in early 2018.

Thanks for listening,
Adam
